It was not the typical motel you expect, room was large with 2 queen beds, as we were travelling on a harley trike and needed a ground floor room, Norman upgraded us. Comfortable bed and pillows. Was right in the middle of town.

White Manor Motel, hotel in Cooma

Featuring free WiFi and all rooms with a Smart TV and free Netflix movies, White Manor Motel is located just under 0.6 mi from the heart of Cooma.

The room was small but had everything to make our one night stay very comfortable. Nice size tv with free netflix so we took advantage and watched a couple of movies. The shower was amazing - beautiful hot high pressure shower. The car was parked undercover which was comforting as wild weather was forecast (which did not happen) but it was nicw to know car was protected.

Cooma is conveniently located just an hour away from all your favorite ski resorts, making it an ideal base for your winter adventures. Unlike Jindabyne, Cooma offers a wider variety of restaurants and accommodation options, ensuring you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend staying in Cooma, especially if you’re traveling with family and planning a short trip of one or two nights. It’s perfect for those who want to hit the slopes without the hustle and bustle.

Cooma is a great stopover on the way to the snow or down to Gippsland via the Monaro Highway. The Lott cafe does a great coffee & cake and has a yummy all day menu. There are some lovely shops if you take a walk around and the newsagents has a well stocked book shop at the back. Beautiful Autumn leaves.

Cooma is a lovely town. Lots of Cafes. Murphy's was Great! Rosie's was YUM too. The Snowy Visitors centre a great idea to visit. The Salvos store has good clean choices too. The Cooma Thai was delicious and NB is a BYO.

We were just stopping for a night on the way to the snow but it's a nice little town with supermarkets and ski hire to pick up everything you need. Countryside is nice and a good mountain biking track too (Mt Gladstone).

The Monaro is spectacular country and Cooma has plenty of great atmosphere. It's always bustling with lots of activity from locals including graziers and their families coming into town and skiers on their way, or coming back, from the Snowy. Love all the shops and enjoyed dinner at the ex-Servicemen's Club.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town. The entry from the Canberra side looks as though it is for the young. We were in the old part of the town - much more to my liking (75 yo). Lovely to walk around and wonderful old homes and churches on the top of the hill behind the motel.

We had a great stay at Cooma Cottage. Howard was a very accomodating host, unlocking the property and turning the heaters on for us just prior to our arrival, which was much appreciated after a lengthy drive down. The cottage was cozy with ample heating options, the beds were comfy and checkout was a very easy process! I would stay here again and would recommend to others looking for accomodation in the Snowy region.
