Had a great overnight stay at La Casita, very peaceful and welcoming, fireplace was ready to go upon arrival which helped with keeping warm on the Frosty June night and added some nice ambience. Highly recommend.

The Host is very friendly and accommodating. The house is very cool we’re tempted to have staycation rather than going to the snowy haha. The place is so comfy and complete facilities. Thanks, Tony!

Room was big enough and Wi-Fi and microwave facilities were there, which is good.

Cooma is a great stopover on the way to the snow or down to Gippsland via the Monaro Highway. The Lott cafe does a great coffee & cake and has a yummy all day menu. There are some lovely shops if you take a walk around and the newsagents has a well stocked book shop at the back. Beautiful Autumn leaves.

We were just stopping for a night on the way to the snow but it's a nice little town with supermarkets and ski hire to pick up everything you need. Countryside is nice and a good mountain biking track too (Mt Gladstone).

The Monaro is spectacular country and Cooma has plenty of great atmosphere. It's always bustling with lots of activity from locals including graziers and their families coming into town and skiers on their way, or coming back, from the Snowy. Love all the shops and enjoyed dinner at the ex-Servicemen's Club.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town.
Lovely atmosphere in our part of town. The entry from the Canberra side looks as though it is for the young. We were in the old part of the town - much more to my liking (75 yo). Lovely to walk around and wonderful old homes and churches on the top of the hill behind the motel.

Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains.
Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains. Is quite a bustling small city now with many shops that seems to have thrived/come back to life post Covid. Plenty to see & do, great choice of restaurants & Cafes. It just needs a Dan Murphy's, a Big W & a Hungry Jacks & it would be perfect :-)
It was ok... location is amazing but value for money hard to say... through out Australia we found so far, no good hotels... everywhere old and rusty furnitures and everything you have to do by yourself. May be because of too much labour cost.
Compare to those all old hotels this one is better.
Person who was managing was very good and co-operative.
Michelle was incredibly generous with the supplies there was ample food in the kitchen including a dozen free range eggs the best scrambled eggs for breakfast, fantastic! Central heating throughout the cottage & electric blankets on the bed made for a comfortable stay in Cooma.
Easy to communicate directly with hotel staff…ie not just thru a website.. they were flexible on access hours.
Room was clean and good value for money for transiting thru or even few nights.
Not a modern motel or facilities but I wanted a clean room at a good price.. Thankyou.
Absolutely best motel I ever stayed. Brand new room, brand new applicants, 72 inches TV. 100$ per night cheapest price. Including microwave, portable electrical stove, big fridge. Never thought we would be so lucky to stay in such a high level motel for 100$.
Lovely self contained apartment behind main house and is completely private from house. Lovely to find eggs and lots of breakfast food welcoming you , so you can enjoy breakfast. All you require for a short stay.
