Helsinki is a very quiet, yet fascinating city, with a great atmosphere especially during winter holidays. The city centre is easy to navigate (small but dense), and full of attractions like Kauppatori local market, unconventional churches like Temppeliaukio, malls, and lovely cafes (Fazer is very recommended and typical). The local transport is very efficient and well organized, and allows reaching easily the Helsinki zoo (which is open all year round) and the Suomelinna fortress (on a separate island). Finnish people are very quiet, reserved, but also welcoming and caring. Enjoy :)

There is lots to do and see in and around Helsinki.
There is lots to do and see in and around Helsinki. There's beautiful and historic buildings to see, museums to visit, lots of shopping and some very nice restaurants. A nice shopping center is Tripla and in there is a restaurant to recommend, called The Schnitzel. We took a quick snowboarding trip to Serena, which is just 30 min drive from Helsinki.

Beds were comfortable, the room exactly as described and depicted in the booking. The staff was very friendly. Copious breakfast, and the location is excellent for visiting the city.
Right next to the train station and shopping mall, within walking distance of the city center and harbour.
We used the nearby underground parking. Not cheap, but similar to other locations in Helsinki and very convenient.
The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The room was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. We had an amaizing view on Helsinki city center. The location is perfect, aspecially the train station in the same building, so you have an easy connection to the city center, airport, as well as long-distance destinations. The breakfast was excellent.
We liked the automated check-in since we arrived very early in the morning, as well as the super-easy check-out. The hotel is situated a 10 min walk from the city center and is well-connected with public transport. Also, there is very close a 24/7 supermarket which we found just perfect.
Breakfast was really good, especially in the weekends. Location is perfect towards the city center and the tourist sightseeing places. Great restaurant in the area of the hotel. 10 min walk to the city center.
