Somerset West is well situated, Cape Town is easily accessible as is the Airport, the N2 allows good travel options in all directions and the R44 to Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Paarl etc.The area has an excellent selection of restaurants and a fantastic selection of wineries most of which also have excellent restaurants on offer, prices are usually cheaper in Somerset West than CT.
Most importantly there are 7 golf courses within 10 miles.
Renier (the host), his family and his dogs made our stay exceptionally good. We had one of the cottages where literally everything was clean and fully equipped. Renier is always nice and responsive. We will definitely come back when we are in Stellenbosch/Somerset West area. Thank you :)
Andre was very welcoming. The room was beautifully presented, spotless and had all the extras one might need. The garden was very pretty, and made one feel at home. A little treasure in Somerset West.
Self catering. Comfy bed and everything as advertised. Fresh milk and chocolate nice surprise.
Towels and linen changed frequently. TV had plenty to choose from.
I liked the location it is in a very quiet and safe area. The unit was neat and clean. Everything you need for self catering is there. Loved the shower!
