Loved the area, close to Strand Beach, but couldn't find local restaurants only the Somerset Mall. Maybe more info should be provided about where the local facilities are so one doesn't spend unnecessary time driving up and down hoping to find the local stores.

Sleepy little town.
Sleepy little town. Very beautiful nestled between mountains and the ocean. Lots of restaurants, stores and wine farms conveniently located. Absolutely able to walk around, but good Über coverage as well. The Main Road is the spine of the town, and is dotted with artisenal burger restaurants, Sushi and more local fare.

It is located near Stellenbosch and a reasonable drive from Cape Town. All the amenities you need including shopping, cinema, restaurants etc. Depending on the time of year the weather (it was cold when we visited this year)it is an ideally situated location.

Matilda and Andre were very welcoming hosts and made one feel comfortable right away. Room and facilities were exceptionally clean, well appointed and well equipped. Privacy assured. Breakfast was delicious. Located in a quiet area but easily accessible and very central to routes into Somerset West, Stellenbosch and Cape Town. Definitely to be recommended

It was like home away from home. In the heart of suburbia and not in your touristy areas. Comfy, clean, convenient. An attractive, well equipped self catering cottage, perfect for a couple who want to stay short or long stays. Gideon and Dina were very accommodating and available.
This is a great place to stay whether it's as a base or as a one night stay enroute to the airport. Plenty of space in the room and the self catering facilities are handy. The owner lives on the property so is there to greet you.
