Food was very good, but the most impressive part was the safaris for sure. It was nice to see those familiar faces in person. Wesley was a responsive and knowledgeable person with sharp eyes always. He was really working on my expectations even though I was travelling alone. The last drive we even did over the standard time to get the sightings. I fully respect and appreciate him.

I saw loads of the animals I was looking for, Giraffe, Rhino, Impala, Crocodile, Elephants Kudu, and even a couple of Lions and 2 Leopards. Saw the Wild Dogs and Buffalo.
I also played golf at Skukuza Golf Club which was a bit of fun. Everyone was friendly and we always felt safe.

Located close skukuza gate of the Kruger national park. It was value for money. Friendly staff and helpful. Missed having a kitchen portion, as it was not self catering. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience.
Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience. This being said, it is not a zoo! Don't expect to see all the existing animals in the parc! Some are easy to spot and other not so much, this is real animal kingdom and it's difficult to say who is watching who! Sun sets are also amazing with beautiful colors. Vegetation is small but dense(bushes). According to our guide it is easier to spot the animal during winter / dry season. Bushes hve less leaves making easier spotting animals and the animals gather around the water spot. During summer it is the opposite. Bushes are more dense and r'there is water everywhere making animal spotting more difficult. So an advice: winter is great for animals but of course temperature are lower so be prepared for low temperature and bring some warm clothes.

Very good upmarket hotel with well equipped luxury rooms and facilities. Dinner and breakfast included in the rate and both were exquisite. Friendly and helpful staff to assist from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. I can highly recommend a planned holiday to this hotel which is situated only a few hundred metres away from the Kruger Gate leading to Skukuza. Great vacation.

If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, stop thinking and do it. The accommodations were absolutely incredible. The staff was so friendly & helpful. We took 1 game drive with them and it was a 200/10. Our guide, Elvis, did everything in his power to help us find the Big Five & I’ll never forget him & his knowledge. Get to Kruger Gate Hotel now!!

Excellent all inclusive stay, I was well taken care of by dedicated staff from before arrival until after checkout. Complimentary airport transfers to Skukuza and guide made sure we saw as much as possible on the game drives. Excellent food served every meal.
We loved the lodge. It was a truly special experience. Everything. The safari, the food, the environment of the hotel, the facilities, the staffs. It is an expensive experience, but totally worth it if you have the chance to invest!
Not much.
This is not a camp on its own like the idea they are selling. This is random spots within the Skukuza rest camp between other campers and random tents.
