I can only tell about the bright side of my journey. I just didn't notice anything that would bother me :) this island is a hidden gem, not so crowded as the Amalfi coast or Capri, yet having so much to share: from thermal waters to amazing sunsets... I was lucky to meet only hospitable people with smiling faces and ready to help. The place I stayed was wonderful. I hope to come back there as soon as I can
While visiting Ischia don't miss I Giardini la Mortella, il Castello Aragonese, and a lovely village Sant'Angelo... this place was safe enough for me as a solo traveler. You can easily get from one place to another by using buses or lovely taxis.. but believe me, one of the greatest feelings was discovering nature's beauty by walking. I am sure you'll come back here again and again after your first visit

This was my second visit to Ischia.
This was my second visit to Ischia. I have stayed at Hotel Europa both times as they are so welcoming and helpful at all times. Also they have a great breakfast and evening meal.
Ischia has so much character and is a lovely relaxed place. It has the most wonderful restaurants I would recommend taking a boat tour around the island if possible. A tour of the Castello Aragonese is also a must. The little town of Sant’Angelo is really worth a visit. It is so beautiful.

I liked the island of Ischia. Cab drivers are aggressive in their pricing -need to negotiate the fee ahead of time. You can take the public bus easily if you are not taking your luggage. If taking luggage, other than a backpack or very small suitcase, you need to take a cab.

Overal beautiful island, great views, great beaches, comparable scenery to Amalfi coast, without the crowd. Good restaurants in the main city. All sights are easily accessible from the city of Ischia with buses. A true hidden gem. + full days is perfectly enough to discover everything.
A hidden oasis of Paradise. The view looks better than pictures. The attention to details is impeccable, with elegant decor.
5* high quality breakfast with the best Mozzarella di Buffalo I probably had to date. Jacuzzi it's actually very good too.
Luca goes above and beyond and It's the experience you always looking for when travelling but hard to get.

It was great to arrive here after long train/ferry from north of Italy. The hotel is modern, nicely decorated with lots of amenities in a great location - quiet but very central, very comfortable beds and I had a small balcony with wonderful views. I used the SPA and had a good massage. Breakfast was great. The managers and staff were wonderful and service was really personal (everyone knowing my first name).
Great staff, always available. The rooms have been renovated recently. But the best thing about this hotel is without doubt the SPA. Enormous SPA with several pools, jacuzzi, sauna etc. Pools with different temperatures, ranging from warm to really hot. Would recommend 10/10.
