True to the pictures which attracted us in first place, Hotel Capizzo provided a very pleasant stay for our family.
The reception gave us sea-view rooms next to one another without even having to ask for, paid good attention during our stay, and were even super kind to post forgotten items after we left.
The beaches are a nice sunny walk away, with a gentle bit of uphill - much needed for the unavoidable caloric surplus. Good breakfast and ok restaurant, with top alternatives nearby, like 'Da Vito'. Grazie Capizzo & Magic Ischia!

We stayed in 3 different hotels on Ischia (same location): Punta, Villa Myremi and Torre Sant Angelo. Punta has a unique looking like a cave tunnel with thermal water. Torre has the best views and a good breakfast (15 EUR if you not in hotel), and Villa Myremi has the best value for money and customer care.
At Punta we enjoyed a transfer from the bus stop and a nice greeting from the hotel. We also enjoyed staying for few more hours at the pool after check out. Thank you for this.
We had a room with a sea view. It was OK. The views from our room in Torre were amazing, much better.
Punta has 2 swimming pools: one small and one long with a unique, looking like a cave tunnel. This was a highlight of our stay. I’ve never seen anything like this. We loved it. Both pools have thermal water with healing properties. But keep in mind that these waters bore various components of radium, radon, thorium, uranium, and actinium. Together with this the radioactivity is so low that it is not harmful. It’s still recommended to remain immersed for no more than 15 minutes. 10 min down the stairs from hotel you can find the sea. Please keep in mind that Sorgeto beach is not sandy or pebbled. It has big rocks, some sharp with lots of fish and crabs in the water. Baia di Sorgeto is also a public thermal springs with a number of visitors during the day, but it’s empty till 8am. In Torre (our 3rd hotel) they have 3 pools, but nothing like a unique tunnel of Punta. In addition, in Torre they have a wellness center with a sauna, whirlpool, steam room, hot/cold/massage showers. No additional charges. I enjoyed it.
There are 3 restaurants at Punta. One is for breakfast (8-10). There is an additional menu for extras like scrambled eggs (from 5 EUR). Another restaurant is for lunch (12-17, but we once came at 16:25 and were told they are closing). Here you can order food like salads and brushettas. If you want hot food like pastas go to Da Gisela.

This hotel is amazing, we had the BEST time, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the shuttle service in and out of town is perfect- if the shuttle can't take you where you want to go the local bus is cheap, easy to navigate and stops right next to the hotel. The views are everything.

This is absolutely the very authentic Italian Island if you are looking for true experiences and genuine places to visit. Ischia is an amazing place which has a so varius range of experiences to offer all close each other in the same island. Glamourus beach clubs, beautiful beaches, hiking, wine tasting, thermal parks... you could stay a month and never get bored. I'll definitely come back on this outstanding island.

The Port town of Ischia was wonderful and provided easy access to booking island trips and ferry visits to the Islands of Procida and Capri close by. Via Roma the main fashion/shopping street was the centre for active browsing and great selection of cafe, eating and drinking. We took a boat trip around the island and buses to other parts both recommended. Lacco Ameno, a beautiful town not far from the Port well worth a visit. Overall a lovely island for a relaxed stay and trips to Prodica and Capri.

Ishia was a great stop for us coming from the Amalfi coast. Forio was beautiful and the old town was charming and very walkable. The buses are cheap and come frequently. Lots of great restaurants with reasonable prices. The Giardini la Mortella was amazing with a vast amount of exotic tropical plants and stellar views at the top. Giardini Ravino was also beautiful with a focus on succulent plants and cacti. Great views from the top as well. We hope to be back with more time to explore Ishia more thoroughly.

We loved Ischia. Planned to only visit as a day trip but changed mind at last minute and stayed 3 nights here, we are so glad we did.
Ischia is ideal for a short stay or long one. Just stay at Hotel Ambasciatori and swim, lounge and eat or explore and hike the hills and coasts.
So glad we discovered this jewel.

Ischia is not crowded...yet. We traveled to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento and Ischia is first of our favorites followed by Sorrento. Good food, reasonably priced, easy to get around, wonderful place to wander! We stayed 3 nights and wished it had been 4. Will be back!

The town of Sant'Angelo on the island of Ischia was a fantastic place. It had beauty, good food, nice people, and options to travel to other locations by boat. We speak a small amount of Italian; but, it was not a problem at all.
From Florence, Italy: train to Napoli Centrale, pre-arranged taxi to the ferry, ferry to Ischia Porto, pre-arranged taxi to Sant'Angelo. It was an adventure.
Loved the hotel and it's people. Breakfast was superb and the scenery was really amazing.
Great boutique hotel and nice people who make this place. The atmosphere, the view of the bay of Neapolitan, delicious cuisine, hot chocolate for breakfast 😋 Transfers for guests to and from Ischia Porto. Thank you for everything ❤️!!!

The hotel had a luxury feel about it. The restaurant, pool area, gardens, beach area and other public spaces were wonderful as were all of the staff. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet.
Everything, clean, more than enough space, good aircon, good fridge, large terrazza in room 7, and the hotel was located in a reasonably quiet backstreet ( it is never quiet in Ischia in late july)
