Lovely authentic Italian hotel. We were staying for a local wedding and the hotel was a beautiful place to stay.
The breakfast was the best and even has a proper coffee bar for freshly made coffee in the morning.
We ate in the restaurant one evening and loved the experience. A great waitress helped my wife with her gluten free allergy and chose some amazing food. The setting in the garden is fantastic.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and the location was perfect. It was conveniently close to the city center and the train station, making it easy to explore the area. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met and exceeded my expectations.

A nice hotel situated in the centre of the town in the area with the main sights and a lot of restaurants and bars, 10 minutes walk from the railway station. A good clean room, a very friendly and helpful personnel. Stable wifi. The breakfast was ok.

Foligno is a pleasant little town - not a lot to see but...
Foligno is a pleasant little town - not a lot to see but lots of eating and drinking options, a few shops, an attractive central piazza (although the cathedral has been closed for years), a nice park with loads of seats, a cafe and an excellent playground for children. There's even a river if you look hard enough. However we stayed there primarily for the rail access to nearby places like Assisi and Perugia.

Great Food and great people, a really cute historical center with lovely restaurants and shopping. Amazing villas and historical attractions. Umbria is always lovely, and the train station is right there. Very Authentic Italian

This was our second trip to Foligno, very lively place, excellent quality food and some similarly good towns like Montefalco and Bevagne nearby or even Narni not too far away. Nice place to spend quality time.

The location is quite good - but everywhere in Foligno is walking distance. We had a late arrival (by one day) which took some coordination with the hotel who did not respond promptly to messages. Just to be clear - this is NOT a hotel. This is NOT a pensione or guesthouse - there are no facilities, no services, - just the room and NO heating.
Francesca is an exeptional hostess. She welcomed us with open arms. Her appartment, right at the main square, is wonderfully decorated with an exquisit eye for detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not forgot the days we spent in Foligno. Thank you, Francesca, we will come back soon.
The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very close to Foligno old town so very convenient for restaurants. Would definitely recommend Relais Metelli for a stay in Foligno.
