The hanok is centrally located. Room had a small kitchenette (which we didn't use) and a bathroom, fully equipped with towels and products. The room had one futon for two people. Breakfast has fruits, jam, bread, milk, cereals, egg, coffee, tea, juice.
A wonderful place set in beautiful natural surroundings. We really enjoyed staying at Okyeon Jeongsa with its relaxing atmosphere, waking up to birds calling in the surrounding forest. The history of the buildings and their owners gave an angle to understanding an important period in Korean history. The host was also very hospitable and serviceminded. The breakfast, apart from being tasty, was an experience in itself, served in the breakfast room with its low doors overlooking the river. Futons were comfortable and the bathrooms fine.
Amazing place! Very nice owners, beautiful garden and tasty breakfasts. I fell in love with this hanok, our room was small but comfy, tatami in Dorandoran was the most comfortable "bed" during our whole journey in Korea! After our visit, they gave us beautiful postcards with Dorandoran hanok 🤩
Very cozy and calm guest house, the garden is beautiful, the room and bathroom was extra clean and the futon style beds were also quite confortable. The host was very nice and helpful, she gave us a very good recommendation for a place to eat and she even called a taxi for us when leaving. We even receive a little gift! :) It was also nice to have breakfast in the common area, different options of beverage and bread is provided, as well as sliced fruit! The location is great, just close to the main street but in a quiet street. 너무 감사합니다.
It was a very nice and quiet place to stay in the middle of a lively area. Interesting to experience the Hanok and the futons provided were also comfortable. The courtyard garden was very nice and the hosts friendly and helpful. As a bonus, there was a cute cultural experience at breakfast time :)
It was one of the best accommodations that we ever had. The host is sooooo nice and helpful, the room is so cozy, especially the futon one and the location is just perfect. Make yourself a favor and book here at least 2 nights. For us these days in Gyeongju were truly a holiday among the buzzing days in Seoul and Busan
Lovely setting in traditional Korean Hanok. You're sleeping on the floor on a futon - not that comfy but I don't want to be negative about it - but just so other guests are aware Underfloor heating very nice Friendly staff and good experience
Large space, simply furnished but everything is provided for. This is a good choice if you want to stay in a hanok but prefer more modern facilities (there is a proper mattress instead of a futon, hair dryer etc). Walking distance to the tombs and parks and there are many eateries nearby (although they tend to close somewhat early, round 9.30pm).
Absolutely charming property in a great location and with super friendly hosts. The traditional breakfast provided was amazing and the information given was generous and much appreciated.
We stayed at Unboundi Gyeongju for 2 nights, and had a very pleasant experience. The front desk was closed when we arrived, but we were given clear instructions on how to get to our room. The hotel is clean and minimalistic modern, with wooden decoration. The rooms are snug, but comfortable, might be cramped if you have bigger luggages. The rooms are clean and bright, and the beds (in our case) were Futon style, but very comfortable. It's a lovely hotel and we would definitely return. Staff are more than friendly and helpful.
