Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. Amazing view onsen, world-class “omotenashi” service, spectacular food (morning & dinner buffet is amazing-strongly recommend half-boarding options since there’s really no good restaurants around and cheaper to book it online than adding it at the hotel), free drink (coffee & tea)and free shuttle bus service from every port (reservation needed by a day before)

Set within 1.2 km of MeiPAM Art Museum and 1.3 km of Saiko-ji Temple in Tonosho, Kikuya Ryokan features accommodation with seating area. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!

Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Tenku Hotel Kairo offers accommodation in Tonosho. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Absolutely lovely! Beautiful and majestic old-school onsen hotel. Fantastic view. Lovely onsen. I changed my plans just to enjoy it for another day. Note: there is a shuttle bus pick-up at the port (bus will come within 15 minutes when you call (before 6pm)) - you'll see the pick-up point in front of the low building). There are also drop-offs scheduled in the morning. Great big breakfast. Bicycle available to order.
