She gave us helpful tips and even arranged a bento breakfast for us to take to the mountain. The hotel arranged the transport both to and from the trailhead as well.

At the ryokan, every unit has a tatami. All units have a shared bathroom. At the ryokan, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Location is very convenient near the ferry, shops including restaurants, and one of the island's onsens not too far away. The sea view from my room and from the bathroom was so refreshing! It was clean and fresh with ample supplies of towels and yukata (and coffee!) - and a helpful manager.
