Staff are polite. they are responsive when communicating before arrival for necessary arrangement. The room is spacious and in excellent new, clean, simple and modern. Breakfast was all from local produce and tasty.

Kominka neri（古民家煉り） is situated in Miyawaka, 12 km from Azenomachi Ehon Museum, 13 km from Ino Tensho Kotai Jingu Shrine, as well as 14 km from Hisasue Park. Extremely beautiful place. Large and comfortable room with in room private onsen for such a reasonable price.

Set within 1 km of Kitakyushu Literature Museum and 1.1 km of Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art, Riverwalk Gallery, Suisui Garden Ryokan (in the Art Hotel Kokura New Tagawa) offers rooms with air... Although it is located in the city center, it was nice to find peace of mind as it was surrounded by a garden.

Hatago is set in Yanagawa. Free WiFi is available. At the ryokan, each room includes a desk. The shared bathroom is equipped with free toiletries. Rooms and House were meticulously clean and sparkling. Hostess was gracious.

Ryokan Kibun offers accommodation in Tsuiki, 26 km from Kitakyushu. Tsuiki Station on the Nippou Honsen Line is a 5-minute walk from the property. Amazing dinner and sweetest staff ever.

Ohana is located in Yanagawa. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a minibar. This truly is a special place, far exceeding our expectations. It's not just a hotel but a destination, a cultural gem. The historical Great Hall and the Japanese garden are beautiful. In the evening you can sit on the edge of the Great Hall looking out on to the beautifully lit garden that surrounds a small lake. And the hotel provide you with sake and other drinks at no charge to aid a truly memorable experience. Our room was large, spacious, comfortable and clean, with a fabulous view over the garden. Breakfast was traditional Japanese, and of the highest quality. All the staff were courteous, and very helpful. There is an excellent museum right next door to the hotel to which entry is free to hotel guests. So don't miss it or the tour around the historical parts of the hotel. This is probably the most glowing review I have ever given on Booking.com, but it absolutely deserves it.

The onsen experience was superb. It was not too crowded. There was an outdoor public bath with a surreal vibe. Remember to bring some money there to enjoy the milk after the onsen. The staff was really nice. I lost my JR pass there, and they helped me ship the pass to my next hotel. Very appreciated their effort on finding it.
