Beautiful Japanese Garden Kagetsu, hotel in Yamanashi

Tranquil Japanese-style rooms at Beautiful Japanese Garden Kagetsu boast views of an exquisite Japanese garden, and come with personal attendant service.

I was an absolute awe at the beauty of this place. Very traditional ryokan stay with a touch of elegance that you feel from the moment you walk in. Koi ponds were everywhere. The gardens were very beautiful. Very calming and quiet area. The room was absolutely huge and exceeding all my expectations. They even provided green tea and snacks inside room. The hot springs were so wonderful. We had private one in room that was so perfect. The place was perfect for our last night in Tokyo. They even have a shuttle car to nearest station ( 15 min walk) The breakfast was SO good and traditional style in the morning. Breakfast and Dinner are served in a dining hall with overview of garden. I wish I wasn't so sick to have enjoyed more of the breakfast. I never wanted to leave this place.

Mt Fuji Hanayagi no Sho Keizan, hotel in Yamanashi

18 miles from Lake Kawaguchi, Mt Fuji Hanayagi no Sho Keizan provides 5-star accommodations in the Isawa Onsen district of Fuefuki.

This Ryokan is amazing! The service was incredible, the food was incredible, the room and view were incredible. The beds were comfortable and you could choose a pillow type. Sanda provided easy-to-understand Japanese instructions. We got Este services and massages, both were great. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and worth the charge. We had the private hot spring in our room which was easy to use and beautiful. Oh and there was a brief taiko demonstration that was really, really good! There's a combini on-site, so don't bring in outside food or drinks. You won't need them anyway!

Nice staff. Good enough room but I think a bit expensive for what else is in the area. It’s just a basic hotel

Nice hotel with a nice onsen, breakfast buffet and a bunch of interesting amenities (karaoke room, game center, kids playroom, store). Came straight down from Fuji-San (around 2 hours from the 5th station) so it was a really good and relaxing experience.

We stayed in a tiny house in the backyard. It was a really nice change from the regular hotels and ryokans. The owners were really nice and breakfast was delicious ✨

It’s an amazingly welcoming and warm place, literally make us feel like home. Very stylish and cozy, can tell the owner has really good taste and the employee was super helpful and hostile. We stay at the mini house this time, would say the view might be for blooming season or autumn, but still very relaxing to sleep next to the river and among trees. Recommend for groups or family travelers, many facilities to enjoy a traditional Japanese residence and fun and peaceful environment. Close to local cafes, restaurant, onsens.
