Hospitality. Staff was so kind and caring. We walked from the center of Noboribetsu and informed the Hanaya the arrival time. They waited us outside of the Ryokan and welcomed us with beautiful smiles.

The onsen, the walks in the autumn foliage near Noboribetsu were great, and the kaiseki meal was delicious! Would definitely recommend stopping there for a night if you're near the area!
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Amenities and facilities were great, everything needed were thoroughly provided, with international adapter etc. Property was spacious. Check-in was smooth. Appreciate the fact that there is onsen, although we did not ended up using it, we could feel and smell the hot spring water.
It was a great location, serene and tranquil. Near to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, aquarium ~
For those who do not want to stay in those big onsen hotel, this place is a perfect place to stay, not to mention it has a onsen hot spring for itself too!
The house is spacious, clean and the facilities are all well equipped.
Right on the coastline, with great views, and had a free shuttle to the town, which was only a 20 minute walk.
Traditional tatami room.
Had the best onsen with views of the water.
Our room had a toilet, no shower, but the onsen had that covered.
Was very old school.
Breakfast was adequate. Traditional cuisine. Staff was very accommodating to our late arrival and was moderately sufficient in speaking English.
This inn was perfect for us as our first experience of hot springs and staying in a traditional tatami floored room.
Certified onsen hot spring right inside the property's bath room! Very nice clean and comfortable house with spacious living and dining areas. Garden is nice as well! Good kitchen to do things in. Great massage chair as well! Came with complimentary nice ramen. I can see this as great for larger groups of people.
