It was truly authentic Japanese ryokan experience. The room with a river view was great, and the bath was lovely. The staff was super helpful and had prepared English information documents and menus even though they didn’t speak English.

We loved our stay here. The location was beautiful, right on the river bank with eagles flying up and down the river every day. Rooms and food were great! Onsen was beautiful as well. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Staff also gave us many suggestions on things to do in the area!

We had a family room and it was very comfortable with private toilet and overlooking the river. Lover the onson (the outdoor one at least men and women swap onsen at 9pm) and the traditional dinner and breakfast was very filling.
