Everything! It was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was so kind and helped us at every opportunity although we speak no Japanese. The onsen was gorgeous, our room was spacious and had an amazing view, and our private onsen was clean and beautiful.

Wow! It was fantastic. The staff were lovely. We got to choose from a variety of patterns of yakata (robes) which was really special. The room (with an ensuite toilet and sink!) was massive. We were provided with 5 futons so we could pile them on top of each other, great for westerners used to softer beds. This made it comfortable. The homemade tiramisu we ordered on arrival was so tasty. The cup challenge for free juice was fun. And best of all, the private onsen experience! We booked 2 time slots (as it was quiet), one in the stone bath and one in the wooden bath. We loved both, but the stone bath was nicest.

The room is clean and the outdoor hot spring commands great view. The meals are well prepared with Japanese style. The lounge is well decorated too.

What a beautiful hotel! I could relax in the hot spring after arrival and before breakfast! The homemade tofu at breakfast was amazing! There was so much variety of food that I started my work day off in great spirits. The hotel staff was also very helpful in helping me find my way around town.
