The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location and amenities were top notch. The onsens were terrific with many options, and best of all, there was also a cold bath, cold room, stone and regular sauna, all free of charge that made the whole experience complete. To top it off, the dinner buffet was large with a great selection of food! I was impressed.

Hotel Urashima, hotel in Nachikatsuura

Located in the Nanki Katsuura hot-spring area, guests at Hotel Urashima can enjoy natural Bokido cave hot-spring baths. The hotel offers 4 other public hot-spring baths.

The staff went above and beyond in their hospitality. Due to multiple mishaps on our way to Kii-Katsuura, our arrival was delayed such that we missed the last ferry and the dinner buffet. Hotel Urashima went ahead and sent a shuttle to pick us up at the bus station, and arranged a dinner at another restaurant on the grounds for us immediately on our arrival, free of charge. Their friendliness and hospitality remained consistent throughout the stay. They frequently clean and arranged the room during our scheduled meals with constant fresh towels. They were always happy and eager to help with any questions we had, and would even guide us in cases where we needed some direction. The amenities were stunning. The cave onsens are straight out of a dream… the observation deck left us in awe, and there’s even a Lawson on the property. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and the view of the ocean while eating is just awesome. I could go on and on. Hotel Urashima won our hearts and was the highlight of our trip to Japan.

This onsen hotel has everything I was looking for. The Tatami room is nice and big. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer great variation of foods. The distance to train and bus station is ok. The onsen is super nice. And all the staffs were great and super friendly. I would like to come back. I was super relaxed when I left this place. Thank you Yukai Resort.

Comfortable tatami room with futon beds. Lots of storage space for luggage. Very friendly and patient host, he took a lot of time to explain everything for us, giving advice for restaurants and breakfast locations.

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was kept clean and facilities were nice to use. I enjoyed the onsen (can be reserved in half hour intervals). The futons provided were very comfortable and I had the best sleep. The location was walking distance from the popular tuna market and auction along with many other restaurants. I wish we stayed here longer!

It is very clean! And right across from the station. The individual bed sections offer great privacy. The onsen (hot springs) across the train station is great. There is plenty to see in this "maguro" city! Great WiFi.

The property had an onsen. The room was a traditional tatami room with futons to sleep in. We needed to have luggage moved to another guest house as we were trekking, and the weight of our backpacks would have slowed us down. The guest house staff arranged for a transport company to collect out packs the next day and it arrived at the destination the same day. Brilliant service and so grateful for their help.
