Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Wonderful service by all the staff! Friendly, warm and sincere. The free shuttle turned out to be the owner and staff who came to get us from the station! The 3 private onsen was a big draw for us as we were shy. Beautiful sea view! Would definitely return!
The guesthouse is SO close to the beach! We couldn't have dreamed of a better location at such a decent price. The room is tatami so nothing extraordinary, but it was clean enough so nothing to complain about. The shared bathroom experience was more than acceptable for one night, but I wonder how I would have felt if we had stayed longer. Oh yes, and a very friendly host to top it off!
