Absolutely lovely place. The staff were all very friendly. The waiters were lovely and the front desk staff were a great help on our last day.
The room was very traditional and very comfortable. We stayed in a room with a private, outdoor bath and I highly recommend it. The view was lovely too.
We asked for a vegetarian menu and the meals were superb. Especially the udon.

Perfect location less than a minute from the stairs to the shrine. Only a 10 minute walk to the train. Loads of shops line the stairs. The hotel itself was exceptional: staff, facilities, onsen, restaurant, room - all were absolutely top notch. One of our best stays in Japan!

The hotel is isolated , it is very nice as a quiet retreat. Good and helpful service staff, when they found out that I was vegetarian, they did there bast at diner to satisfy my needs.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
When I booked, I didn't realise it comes with the onsen, so it was a huge surprise. Free udon after 9pm in the lobby, and a large variety for breakfast. Amenities in the lobby are generous too, and the selection of pillows.
The breakfast was great. Very traditional. Lots of options. The staff were all incredibly helpful despite the language barrier and the location was very easy to find from the main train station. Walking distance. Lots of cute shops nearby. The onsen is absolutely tiny…but still enjoyable. Only one little warm pool of water tho.
The hotel is quite new. The room size is very decent. Although the onsen is small but is good enough to relax after a day out. The hotel also offer free udon from 9pm onwards and the breakfast is also good. Keep up the good job!
Night udon (21:00) is good for guest after having hot spring.
