All the staff were incredibly kind, and since the place wasn’t too crowded, it was perfect for enjoying the onsen at a relaxed pace. Being close to the airport also saved us travel time, allowing us to make the most of our trip. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully plated and full of care, with both the presentation and flavors being exceptional. This was my first trip with my mom, and we had such a wonderful time together. I would love to visit again in the future with my dad, mom, sibling’s family, and my husband.
Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Okumizuma Onsen offers accommodations in Kaizuka, 23 mi from Osaka. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV.

The service was incredible from beginning to end. A staff member was already waiting at the local train station to pick us up, and the ride up to the hotel was comfortable and picturesque. The room and on-site amenities were incredibly clean, high quality, and large compared to other hotels that we stayed at. The individual private bath rooms were immaculate, and it was a pleasure experiencing the onsen with the complimentary drinks. Both meals that we experienced were great, the traditional Japanese breakfast was very good, and the multi-course dinner was very high quality and shared the region's specialties. The rice served was the best that I had anywhere in Japan, and a staff member even kindly made our leftovers into a rice ball that could be enjoyed in our room. I would recommend this location to anyone staying near Kyoto or Osaka and looking for a high-quality trip into the mountains.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
+The view from the window of the room is phenomenal.
+Clean and comfortable room
+You can buy fresh orange juice for little money
+Cool dinos
+Area to relax and read manga.
+It's nice to have direct access to the spa area including onsen. I loved the relaxing atmosphere at night and the view during the day.
+I don't smoke, but it's good that there is a smoking area for those in need, so the environment stays clean (even though the place might be too windy, but at least there is one).
The view of the ocean from my room was very nice. It's fairly convenient to Rinku Town station/shopping, and KIX airport on the other side of the bridge. I arrived too late to use the hot springs (onsen) but I'm sure that is very relaxing.
The hotel staff were polite and could speak really good English! The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Even the futon beds were comfortable. The location is wonderful, right smack beside the shopping mall and the ferry's wheel. The hotel even has an onsen on level 3!
Within walking distance to Izumi Sano station (10 mins and easy to find), and two stops to Kansai airport. Nice old style house with tatami and futon. Clean and tidy.
We had an early flight out of KIX airport and we didn't want to deal with the hassle of traveling from Osaka, so glad we found OMO. We reserved the family room with Tatami, the room was very roomy for the 4 of us and it's huge for Japanese hotel room. OMO also offers complimentary shuttle service to KIX and Onsen in the building.
Beautifully clean, quiet, and comfortable accommodation. Lovely service. Free coffee and tea. Spotless kitchen and bathroom. My room had futon, tatami and desk, beautiful and so clean. Perfect!
