The staff at the hotel are amazing. The hotel offers free shuttle to/from the closest Mikawa-Miya station and also to/from Lagunaire Ten Bosch. We enjoyed the hotspring facilities and the scrumptious Japanese breakfast. The hotel is also close to a beach where we spent hours exploring the many marine creatures there. This destination was such a relaxing get-away from the bustling cities.
Just a 5-minute drive from marine resort complex Laguna Ten Bosch, Hiranoya features natural hot spring baths, massages and karaoke rooms.

this is my worst experience in Japon.
the staff was not really polite with us, we arrive late 8,30pm and no one help me with luggages and to find food for my children we arrive late before a heavy rain the train was cancel them the train was local so 1h30 trip become 6 hours
the next day the staff ask us to be on time to have breakfast 45 minutes so 7.15 to 8 am or 9.15 to 10 am them the staff ask us to leave the hotel at 10.30 am and return to the hotel at 3.30PM.
i came to this hotel to relax and enjoy bath and read for 3 days after a long trip , I did not rent a car .
so we left ( most of the guest has cars) we try to find a taxi the hotel could not understand to order a taxi Uber did not work in this city we decide to walk the town was so far and so hot it was 95F outside , I finally find a store we bought food for lunch and diner and the store manager order a taxi for us we return to the hotel and surprise no electricity no AC , no WIFI the hotel was like a ghost no one was there no guest no staff .... the most bizarre experience .
my kids was so scare, I return to my room with no electricity until 3 pm when the electricity and AC went back on . the next day we has breakfast at 7.15am precise the hotel provide a mini bus ( not really clean but the driver was nice ) to drop us at the train station It was the worse experience of my live. I would like to be reimbursed and remove this hotel from your list . la plus terrible expérience de ma vie je ne recommande pas

Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
A lovely view of the ocean and short walk to the sea front.
The onsen was a lovely facility.
The room was large and comfortable, we felt like we were staying in a Ryokan.
The breakfast was delicious and so much food for the two of us.
Gamagori is a cool little town with a lovely seaside vibe. The ryokan has great service, comfortable rooms, and of course the baths. The lounge with record players, piano, and reading area is a great place to hang out, and the self service coffee bar is a nice touch.
amazing ryokan ! The stuff so kind and also English speaking. You get fine tatami room and nice haori and yukata outfit that you can wear around the hotel area.
Also the onsen is very cool with many kinds of facilities.
Thank you so much for having me in this place.
どもありがとうとございます。
Was one of the very few hotels that accepts tattoos in the onsens, so we were graetful. The Onsens were stunning though & it was well worth the journey to go here and experience the tradition.
Elegant hotel with tasteful interiors. Super clean room. Onsen was great, esp. the cavern. DIY coffee making in the lobby was lots of fun. Coffee beans from various countries, mill, taste superb.
Spacious room. I liked the mix of tatami and carpetted space. My wife really enjoyed the downstairs onsen. The breakfast was a mixture of western and Japanese fare. There's a really neat fixture in the lobby where you can grind your own coffee.
