水と緑のやすらぎの宿 一の瀬, hotel in Fuji

水と緑のやすらぎの宿 一の瀬 offers accommodations in Mishima, 22 miles from Shuzen-ji Temple and 26 miles from Mount Daruma.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic ryokan, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and provided top-notch hospitality. They went above and beyond to accommodate our vegetarian dietary requests, ensuring everyone in our group enjoyed the exquisite kaiseki meal. The onsen experience was out of this world, with attentive staff providing a unique escorting service. Despite the language barrier, they made every effort to ensure our comfort, even using a translate app on an iPad for seamless communication. Overall, an exceptional stay filled with warmth, care, and unparalleled service. Highly recommend!

For those who want to experience Japanese culture, this ryokan is perfect. It will take you back in time to the Edo period. A hot bath is truly divine and relaxing. Staff extremely nice and friendly. I definitely recommend staying there.

I normally don’t write reviews but this is the most beautiful hostel I ever been. Every thing is clean and neat, the guys from the hostel are very nice and helpful and the hot bath every night perfect plus. The rooms are like Ryokan style and very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

This was a good stay in a nice Ryokan! The staff was lovely, they are so sweet. Price-quality very good. If there are no clouds you can see mt Fuji from your window. There will be tea waiting for you in your room. Very near to the small train station. If you stay at this Ryokan, visit the Hiromi park. Also, eat lunch at the Kitchen Taka Fuji!

The private onsen was wonderful. The twin room we booked was really clean and felt more like a ryokan than a hostel.

We wanted to try a Ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel) and we had a good experience. Though it happened to be a rainy day so roof top foot spa with Mount Fuji view was closed. The Ryokan does give a feel of a family run hotel (less commercial feel). Hotel is in 3 adjoining building and other than main building there were no elevators. Onsen was good. We asked for vegetarian breakfast and were provided with one which was good. We went for a walk in the neighbourhood in night and felt very safe.
