Dar Lekbira Boutique Hôtel er nýlega enduruppgert riad-hótel í Sousse, í sögulegri byggingu, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Bhar Ezzebla-ströndinni. Það er með garð og verönd. Dar Lekbira was absolutely wonderful to stay at. It is even more beautiful in person compared to the photos, and it does a great job of balancing the traditional riad with modern amenities. There were lots of small touches like two teas (calming and digestive), rose water, and organic handmade soap in the room - the attention to detail made it special. I had a suite upstairs with a balcony, next to the stairs that go to the roof (a nice sitting area in itself). Everyone I met at Dar Lekbira was kind, personable, and helpful with any question that I had. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - and slightly different each day. The location being in the medina is great because it made going out and about easy at any time of the day - very convenient. I would recommend anyone going to Sousse to stay at Dar Lekbira, as it definitely made my first visit to Tunisia comfortable and memorable.
