Experience Morocco in style with a Riad – a luxurious house or palace with an interior garden or courtyard. Riads can often accommodate large numbers of people and have a swimming pool and wellness facilities (hammam), making them a glamorous way to vacation as a group.
The location and atmosphere were great. Traditional old house and Lots and lots of tress, palm dates in and around the property. There is a mango tree within the property - enjoyed juicy mangoes for free. Excellent place to get out of busy city life and be surrounded by mountains and greenery. The falaj (water canal) system was amazing - clear and tasty natural water straight from the mountains. Will definitely come back here.
Traditional room style, roof top leisure halls on open terrace, cooperative staffs. Hamza (owner) extends his whole hearted support during the stay. Breakfast is provided.
The authentical house.
The evenings on the rooftop and the breakfast. very nice owner.
By renting this house the Tourist makes a contribution in the presevation of historical buildings.
Very nice place, spotlessly clean, traditional building, great breakfast! Just in the center of the old town, 1' from the museum, wonderful area to walk at night.
Beautifully renovated traditional house. Just opposite the palm grove where you can take a nice walk in the green.
The owner and staff are very kind and are helpful to give you some hints what to do in and around Al-Hamra.
Traditional, old Omani house adopted to guesthouse. You can feel the mood of old times. Relaxing palm oasis, perfect for walking or jogging next to the place. Delapidated old town nearby. Room number 5 is definitely the best one to occupy. If you are a bigger group of travelers, it is a good idea to book all 3 rooms at 1st floor - then you will have like privat floor with shared saloon.
Friedly and helpfull personel. Atmospheric stay in historical hause of clay with all needed facilities. Beatyfull town. Close to the main hiking routes and Oman castles.
