The staff at the Riad were exceptional. I am sorry I didn't get all their names. From the gentleman who greeted us on arrival, served us dinner on our first night and brought us drinks on the terrace after our Hamman. The gentleman who served breakfast and let us in when we came back late one night. The gentleman who went through the map of the city with us and gave us lots of really helpful suggestions on where to visit, local customs and useful tips regarding taxis and bargaining and who helped us book our Hammam and Massage treatment. Samir, who was also a constant during our stay and the only member of this exceptional team whose name I know. The professionalism, kindness and sense of humour of them all, really added to our stay and experience. They are all a great asset to the Riad.
The Riad is beautifully decorated, with a spacious ground floor where breakfast and dinner are taken. Our room was Tanger on the second floor. The roof terrace was a beautiful and extensive space, set over two floors with sun loungers, sofas, alcoves and seating in different configurations, so there was plenty of outdoor space. You never felt crowded and there was plenty of room to sit in the sun or shade, relax, read, have a cold beer or some wine and sunbathe very comfortably.
The breakfast was lovely, with different breads, cakes and fruits served daily and an option for eggs too. The warm brioche type buns were amazing.
The housekeeping was excellent and everywhere - our room and public spaces, was exceptionally clean.
We booked a transfer through the Riad and had dinner the night we arrived, as our flight arrived in the evening. The experiece was seamless and a great welcome to the City.
Access to the main square was very straightforward from the Riad, just, left, right and left again. Not far to walk around 10 to 15 mins, with lots to look at. I am so glad we booked at L'oiseau du Paradis and would strongly recommend it to anyone else looking to visit Marrakech.

Lovely Riad which is like stepping into a tiny piece of paradise. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make your stay amazing. The breakfast is really good, possibly too much food. Location wise, be prepared to walk down a backstreet, however we never felt unsafe as two women on our own.
The taxi rank is around the corner from the hotel and you are right in the edge of the markets. The square is about a 20 minute walk or five minute taxi ride.

Sheets were nice and soft! I booked a riad because of reviews and comments I had read suggested I should as it is a traditional Moroccan house. I think one night is fine to do as we did a few days excursion. Staff were so friendly. View and rooftop was great.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s traditional Moroccan architecture which provided a serene escape from the bustling city outside. The welcoming courtyard, adorned with intricately tiled fountains, set the stage for a truly magical stay.
We loved the calm and serenity of the Riad, the beautiful traditional decor, the pool, the trees and plants in the courtyard, the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, the roof terrace and the generous breakfasts.
Riad Rose Meryam was beautifully furnished and rooms were really nice and cozy. Staying here was very authentic - riad is decorated in Moroccan style and the inner courtyard with fountain and beautiful black and white tiles, just gorgeous. Nice lady welcomed us with tea and cakes everyday. We communicated mainly with the landlady because other staff didn't speak English but we managed to understand each other anyway. Position was great to explore palaces and souks in the Medina. All in all we had a nice stay here!

Riad La Cigale was in the centre of the medina, ideal for exploring all the souks, caravanserai and streets in Marrakech. The rooms overlooked the central courtyard and were next to each other, as requested. There was a seating area, bedroom and bathroom. The riad was lovely with traditional Moroccan decor. The breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity. We ordered dinner for the first night and it was delicious. The hotel was very helpful in arranging our transport to the airport at the end of our stay.
