Facing the beachfront, Tung Quang Hotel offers 2-star accommodation in Cat Ba and has a garden, shared lounge and terrace. Great location. Friendly staff. I commend the receptionist at the hotel as well as the person who was replying to my queries in Whatsapp for their proactive approach in handling all of our queries and request.

Rita cruise surpassed our expectations. We stayed on the cruise ship over Christmas with our 3 young children and had the best time. The boat is beautiful, the staff were amazing right from the moment we booked and all through our stay and the activities and food were amazing. We would recommend this cruise to anybody. It’s the perfect way to see Ha Long bay with a bit of luxury.

Set in Ha Long, 100 metres from Bai Chay Beach, Oakwood Ha Long offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The villas are pure luxury, they are hugh! plenty of space for everyone, we traveled as a family of 6 people. Villas are very modern, new & clean, beds very comfy, amazing showers. Breakfast was plentiful, something for everyone, good value. We had room service, which arrived quickly & we used the spa which is very nice. We explored the city of HA LONG by buggy, the driver was great, he talked to us through Google Translate and told us all about his city & answered all the questions we had.

300 metres from Hospital Cave, Cat Ba Countryside Homestay is a recently renovated property set in Cat Ba and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Perfect hosts and very calm location. Restaurant was exceptional with very good food and very good price/quality relation.

Wow! What a unique property. Beautiful beach and pool …..everything is well maintained. If somebody had told me this hotel was one year old id have believed them. The food was great. The tours and staff run this like a world class 5 star that it is. Well done.

Featuring a patio with mountain views, a private beach area and a casino, domdomHOUSE Villa - 1min walk to beach can be found in Ha Long, close to Bai Chay Beach and 2.9 km from Marina Bay Beach. Lovely villa with a helpful and kind host. tidy and cozy. Excellent for a family holiday or getaway with friends. Strongly advised!

Situated in Cat Ba, 2.8 km from Tung Thu Beach, Windy Homestay features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. What was not to like, good location although suggest scooter is a must, they hire them for less than 100k VND. The place is very clean, Can on reception who manages the place with his mum are awesome, friendly and super helpful. You do need google translate but they use it very well. Breakfast is basic but more than enough and for the price is amazing. Am sure if I asked for anything they would have sorted it but we just went with the flow. Cannot recommend this place enough , hot water , firm but comfortable bed with quiet aircon and or fan. Nice pool area and free pool and table tennis. Easy to get around island on scooters from here.
