Offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery, Silks Place Taroko Hotel is located within the Taroko National Park in Hualien County. hotel was amazing and we got exceptional retreat experience, starting from greeting us, lunch at arrival, excellent breakfast in the lounge. Hotel room was exceptionally spacios, with minibar, voffe at the room. Evening experience with live concert was magical. hotel is situated in very special place, not so many sightseeing around, but great place to relax. dinner at chinese restaurant - was over expectations, very delicious. even hotel looks a bit old, but everything good quality, clean and well maintained. that’s absolutely recommended place to stay while visiting Taroko park.

Located in Jian, 7.1 km from Liyu Lake, Summer Rocker Villa provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. It is a luxury boutique resort. The owner invested every area from service to hardware. Breakfast was great, and surprised me when it provided such high quality of fruits. Loved background music from Jazz to soothing music. Room size is immeasurable, far above BnB standard. It provides toothbrush, slipper, and Locctane products and etc. Coffee and tea maker are available. I used bicycles to tour the entire city. BTW, TV channels such as France 24, DW, CNN, CNBC are available, a A+ channel setup.

Gaeavilla Resort features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Jian. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Both facilities and service is really great and there are plenty of activities offered. Rooms are spacious. The outdoor pool area is fantastic and they have a drink bar in direct conjunction which we seldom have seen in Taiwan - awesome!

Situated in Hualien City, 1.2 km from Beibin Park Beach, Le Meridien Hualien Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Beautiful hotel in the most prime location in hualien. Upon entering I was blown away by the design of the lobby, mostly wooden elements that conveyed a sense a warmth. The front desk was quite busy so check in took a little longer than expected, but the staff were professional and friendly. Room was spacious and quite large for a standard room, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've slept on. Breakfast the next day was a semi buffet with some hualien specialties, not a huge variety but everything was good. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations, I was surprised to see such a high end hotel here in Hualien. Due to earthquake onsen is under repair, and restaurants aren't fully open, looking forward to the official opening, I will surely be back again!
