My stay was excellent, I was very sad to be leaving… the resort is in a great location, just off the main island road. It has a private beach and a nice pool. The resort is beautiful, surrounded by thr jungle, it is a very peaceful place! The cottages are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The food is very yummy, the staff very helpful- they also booked all the bus and ferry tickets for me to another island. They picked me up from the pier in Koh Phayam for free. There is also a small workout area with a boxing bag.

Mama's bungalows Koh Chang, a resort, is a property situated in Ko Chang, facing the sea. This resort offers on-site dining featuring Thai and western dishes. Koh Payam is 11 km from the property. The location is beautiful, the beach is perfect.

Beautiful location right on the beach and neighbor to the islands best restaurant Knock knock and the famous Hippie bar Breakfast is ok.

All the staff were amazing, especially Sally. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. She has a passion for her job and truly cares about the customers. The rooms were spacious, bright and clean. The location was fantastic - right on the beach!

The water here is flat no rocks and perfect for small kids. The staff are lovely people and Khow prepares delicious food. The bungalows are very rustic and past their prime but the price reflects that. There are many options on Ko Phayam however this suited our budget as we have a five week stay in Thailand. Earliest happy hour that we saw starts at 3pm with big Chang beer for 90baht, you won’t find it cheaper. High quality ETE ice cream was a hit with the kids with many flavours to choose from. I am an ice cream snob so I can vouch for it. Our two kids had never been to the sea before and the jungle critters had them freaked at first but they loved the dogs which they are normally quite wary of. We stayed here for a week and are sad to have left. I definitely can recommend Baan Suaan Kayoo.

If you like to be in the middle of the jungle and love trekking. This will be the perfect place to start. If you only love the nature, you`ll need a scooter to get around (150thb a day) The marvelous italian host Simone and Marco and their staff will do the best for you. They are just about to finish building the new big pool and the lovely surroundings. I surely will be back when the pool is ready.
