The location is perfect - I thought it would be far, but it's close to other hotels on the island and just far enough to have a great beach. The beach is perfect. Go for those better villas if you can, they're closer to the beach and more remote from each other, although all of them are technically beach front. When we moved in, we paid some more and immediately switched. They have a better seating area (like a balcony), thanks to that our stay was perfect. The restaurant has good food. If you're on a bike, it's very easy to explore the island (there's not much to explore there, though, and the hotel seems to be at the best place). Otherwise, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the street where you can hop on a three-wheeler, or go to an incredibly cheap and good local restaurant (just 100m to the right once you're on the main street).

Το Libong Beach Resort απέχει 10 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από την προβλήτα Baan Prao. Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
