It was great that has multiple parking lots even though sometimes in the evening it could get quite crowded. The terrace is beautiful and offers lots of places where you can drink or eat(by the pond, in the courtyard with some statues and great lawn, covered...). Another great thing for families is the small kids place where they can spend their time and energy. The personnel was friendly and the rooms were clean. Besides cleanliness the rooms were quite well done, the beds comfortable and we've had even a small terrace with chairs and a small table to enjoy the sun and fresh air.

Mirage Resort & Spa is situated in Vişeu de Sus in the historical Maramureş region. The hotel has a sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The spa was great, the room clean and confortable.

Situated in Breb, 4.5 km from The Wooden Church of Budeşti, The Village Pension features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our 3-night stay at The Village Hotel. "Casa Pictata” offers an authentic experience and has all the necessary facilities. Penny is a wonderful host who gladly arranged encounters with the local community: we dined on traditional Romanian food at a local's home, visited a shepherd's station (where the view over Breb is breathtaking!) and we also had the opportunity to observe the cheese-making process.

Set in Moisei, 31 km from The Wooden Church of Ieud, Pensiunea VOX offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was a really pleasant stay. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming. Home cooked food was really good and plentiful. Location is about 30 minute drive out from Borsa which was perfect for our ski trip. There are also a lot of hiking opportunities around during summer time. The sauna and jacuzzi provided relaxing evening after the long day of skiing.

Located in Cavnic, 12 km from The Wooden Church of Budeşti, Royal Alpin Crown provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Location was perfect, nice clean rooms

Offering a casino and mountain view, Pyky is located in Baia Mare, 19 km from The Wooden Church of Şurdeşti and 21 km from The Wooden Church of Plopiş. Good value for the money.  Although the building from the outside looks a bit scruffy, the interior and the apartment have been completely refurbished.  Brand new large apartment, with kitchen, fridge, kattle and microwave oven.  Huge shower, big bedroom with comfortable bed.  Everything is brand new.  I had my motorbike parked in a box (garage) in the courtyard. No extra money for that.  Location is about 5 / 10 minutes from old city center.  Communication with the owner was excellent, easy and efficient.  Everything was smashing, five stars apt!!!

Set in Baia Mare, 20 km from The Wooden Church of Şurdeşti, Casa Achim offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The place is really nice, beds are super comfortable, rooms have a good size, cleaning is great and staff are very friendly. There is a coffee machine and an iron on the hallway available for everyone to use. The food is really good at the restaurant and the staff are really careful with our needs. Air conditioning in each room works and it was really helpful considering the hot days we experienced. Location is 5min walking to the city centre. We were very satisfied with this place.
