A 2000 méteres tengerszint feletti magasságban található, ultraluxus színvonalú Alila Jabal Akhdar üdülőközpontból az Al Hadzsar-hegységre nyílik kilátás. It was a truly amazing experience. At check-in we upgraded the room to mountain view with two terraces with comfy lounge and deck chairs. The resort is wonderfully built with stones and wood and integrated into the extraordinary landscape with huge canyons and cliff, placed right at the cliff in a height of close to 2000m. They offer a range of activities, archery, mixing drinks, yoga and meditation as well as a vis ferrata. The food choice at breakfast and in the evening is excellent with very nice service and great views and atmosphere. A once in a lifetime experience, a really hard time for us to say goodbye. 😀

Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, the highest five star resort in the middle east on the curving rim of a great canyon, is a secluded haven for the intrepid and discerning. Real, not fake hospitality, enthusiastic, well trained staff, very professional and fast service, professional advice, very good contact with waiters, villa host and reception, stunning mountains and canyon views, fabulous heated swimming pool in villa, no single incident during stay. Total privacy respected by all staff is the hotel highest priority. Very interesting architecture designed to make guests happy. Very good signage of all places, easy to find any. Electric carts for those, who do not want to walk. Hotel is very expensive, but not overpriced, Perfect meals both served to room and in well designed restaurants, very tasty with unique combination of local flavors and ingredients, superb sweets and ice cream, fantastic fruit plates and generous information from staff about each meal. Location in the city is very convenient for those, who want to make small shopping, or use ATM, access within few minutes walk. All in all fantastic, relaxing, comfortable stay. Even unusual guest wishes fulfilled as far as possible. My rating is higher than 5 stars and I can recommend this hotel to everybody, who wants highest quality service and stay. I believe, that this Anantara hotel can be compared with level of Six Senses hotels.

DusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar, Oman features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a terrace and bar in Jabal Al Akhdar. The staff was very friendly, it deserves an "11" rating. The cook is ingenious, try the buffet, you will find some really phantastic creations...

First and only hotel ever calling you in the morning to inform you that the room is ready and you can check in early. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Don't miss the afternoon karak.

Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa, an IHG Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Al ‘Aqar. This 4-star resort offers a bar. The hotel is newly opened, only 9 days ago. The location is on a very beautiful mountainside overlooking the quiet small villages located deep in the valley and the pomegranate and rose farms nearby. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and ordered from the menu taking into consideration the sustainability of resources in comparison with the buffet. Special compliments to the chef :-)
