As a couple of architects, we were thrilled to stay in this lovely facility. Great views, impressive dining and gathering spaces, attention to design details, and comfortable bedding made our stay perfect.

One of Norway's most spectacular spa resorts opened in November 2008. On a seaside location, with its own marina and beach, just 500 meters from the centre of Son, is Son Spa. Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience.
