The Sognefjord is 5 minutes’ drive away. amazing! my kids thought they were in heaven. nice large room with an extra cot so our family of 5 was very comfy. the pool was great, dinner at the restaurant was tasty, the laundry room was great for a mid trip refresh on our clothes, and the indoor playground has been our kids favorite thing about our entire vacation.

The people from Alværa Missionssenter are really really friendly! There was so much to play with for the kids, table tennis, volleybal, frisbee, soccer and we could use the fishing rods as well. After a lucky catch the super friendly and good cook Jens made fish cakes as an extra for dinner, so great! They picked us up form the ferry in Lavik and brought us back as well which was excellent service. And making a fire at the fjord in the evening was the cherry on the pie, thank you very much for such a lovely stay! P.S. The rooms are indeed very basic but they have all you need, really suitable for a stay with children as well!

Located 37 km from Hopperstad Stave Church, Myrkdalen Resort Nedre Byggardslii apartment offers accommodation with a balcony. The view was incredible. We loved the patio area. Kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was clean. We loved staying here. We went on several walks and it was close enough to drive to Flåm and Voss for day trips. The apartment has been updated since the photos on the website. It looks much nicer now.

Overlooking the Fuglesetfjord, these wooden cottages enjoy a scenic location in Bjordal village. All feature a terrace with barbecue facilities, free Wi-Fi access and a kitchen or kitchenette. The cottages and the views are very nice. The owners of the camping are absolutely wonderful - nice, caring and very accommodating. Our cottage wss facing the lake and although there is not much going around you don't need anything else if you are looking for beauty and quiet. The crowd is mostly fishing enthusiasts.
