We enjoyed your nice breakfast in peace every morning. We were staying very easy to have staffs who were very kind and friendly. It was very nice to have an evening cocktail with canape (free charge) at the beach.

There was so much to do there. The spa was great, I had a lovely Elemis facial. The pools were clean and appealing. Very very well maintained. The staff definitely makes this place. Our room was lovely, had a beautiful jungle view.

Bubu Resort is a 35-minute boat ride from Kuala Besut Jetty. Kuala Terengganu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty is a 100 km drive, while Kota Bharu Airport is 60 km away from the jetty. Location was ideal, right by the jetty and right on the beach. The staff were so friendly, the restaurant staff were great and couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff were helpful especially Ibtissem, she was so helpful with our needs. She also joined us on a snorkelling tour and took underwater photos of us free of charge and sent them to me. The photos were great and it was worth the extra 20 ringgit (per person) to book through bubu rather than one of the other cheaper places and the boat was much better than the smaller ones. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much.
