I got upgraded because the dorms were under renovation. The double room was very comfortable, even better for that price. The owners were very friendly, I got to eat with them in the evening.

• Offering an outdoor swimming pool, a private restaurant and free WiFi access at lobby area, Xcape Resort Taman Negara is tucked away in Kampong Keldong. The rooms were spacious, clean and felt quite new. Bed was rather big and had a nice mattress. The AC worked perfectly. Shower was separated from the toilet (which was super rare on our vacation in Malaysia).

Clean for what you expect, ideal location, immersed in nature but still feel comforts of hygiene and luxury. Team was really accommodating and understood our needs and was flexible on our check-in, check-out requirements even with quite full occupancy. Everyone who worked there really went out of their way to make you feel at home.
