Breakfast is excellent, with a variety of food that I would have never imagined for such a remote location Get your own sim card for the internet and you won't have problems. Otherwise, consider you're in the middle of nowhere and enjoy the peace and the nature rather than worrying about social media :) The whole staff is super, and the shuttle bus to the airport and to the national park is a bit advantage. There is a mini market close to the hotel, but, if you want to have something more to eat than peanuts and chips, go to a supermarket before getting to Mulu

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. The resort and surrounsings are just stunning. The house was beautiful and clean. The resturant serves very good food, the service was just lovely. It was one of the my favorite lodges I have travelled to. The location is amazing- 3 min walk to the Orangutan And Sun bear centers, 15 min walk to the Rainforest Discovery center. I wished I have stayed longer..

Shunde Palm Resort 仙本那顺德人家棕榈园 di Semporna mempunyai taman dan teres. Antara kemudahan tempat penginapan ini ialah restoran, dapur berkongsi dan khidmat bilik, serta WiFi percuma. We loved the shunde palm resort as it’s out of town and nice and quiet, however it’s close enough to walk to restaurants or for 4rgt you can get a grab into the town centre. The owners are really friendly and arranged a great trip to the islands and sea Gypsies village at a good reasonable price and not with lots of tourists. It was like a private tour. Breakfast was included Location is lovely in the middle of a palm plantation. We are more than happy to recommend shunde palm as a great alternative to staying in the town centre where it is noice. The individual bungalows where super clean and just like they have being renovated, with ac and super good fans. Good wifi

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan restoran di Semporna. Excellent place to stay; beautiful quiet setting in nice garden with lovely pool and jacuzzi. Rooms are big, comfortable beds, good shower, clean, coffee/tea making facilities. Breakfast is also good and they bring you for free to town. (About 15 minutes ride). Everybody is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place! Don't stay in central Semporna, this little gem is 1000 times better.
