Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, medlem av Leading Hotels of the World, er en eksklusiv oase av luksus spredt over 9 naturskjønne hektar og 750 meter med uberørt strand. We stayed in Maradiva for 8 days for our honeymoon. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a resort as this isn't our usual type of preferred accommodation. However, Maradiva far exceed expectations of what a resort should be. It was a unique stay, where we had our own beautiful villa and pool, with luxurious amenities. The villa is serviced twice a day, with turn down service. The beach was mere seconds away (very well-kept, never crowded with well spaced sun loungers, and helpful staff who check on your comfort and provide drinks and snacks). There are three restaurants to choose from- each exquisite in their own way and any request catered for. There is also a lovely spa with heated pool, and gym. We had an absolutely amazing time in Maradiva- we were given complimentary Raj tent dining by the beach and a spa treatment for our honeymoon. Suffice to say this was a decadent experience, but the true gems of Maradiva are the staff who work tirelessly to look after the guests as if they are their own family members visiting them. Aqeel, Nitish, Pritila, Yeshta, and many others have made the whole experience beyond memorable. We will truly treasure our time in Mauritius & Maradiva, and will wholeheartedly recommend choosing Maradiva if you want an exceptional experience.

The JW Marriott Mauritius Resort includes panoramic Indian Ocean and Le Morne Brabant Mountain views from its beachside location. JW Marriott Mauritius is a beautiful hotel, but it is fair to say the most special thing about this resort, is people who work there. Each and every member of staff goes out of their way to ensure that your stay is something special. From the general manager the whole way down, everyone takes exceptional care to elevate the experience and I have to commend the hotel for this, above everything else. A huge thanks to everyone there but in particular to: All the staff in the Japanese Restaurant and the chef who went to a huge effort on our last night to make our final meal something more than memorable. It was like a full tasting menu and it was a very kind gesture. Adish Tulloo in the gym, who was the personal trainer for my husband and I, during our stay. He kept us motivated, showed us new methods of training and kept us coming back every day. A real asset to the hotel. Ravi - our butler who went to such effort to make our stay special. He booked every reservation and meet us each and every morning with a smile. Kevin - the concierge who makes sure everything is running smoothly. Matthew in the bar - not just an amazing bar man but also an extremely talented photographer always on hand to take snaps of the guests. Last but not least, Sarvesh in the Boathouse who was so kind and made an impromptu table for us under starlight to enjoy one of our last dinners. You are a true gentleman.

Located at the foot of Le Morne Brabant, this resort faces a white sandy beach with turquoise waters and offers elegant, air-conditioned suites surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. The rooms are very spacious and are quite comfortable, which was nice given there was some rainy weather - which passed quickly and we just relaxed on our covered deck during the shower. The staff was attentive and professional. The beach bed situation is top notch, they're spread out and they even have bean bag lounge chairs, so comfortable and that spaced out setup is perfect. The food was overall pretty good, some restaurants were definitely better than others.

Boasting mountain views, Oceanview Kite Studio features accommodation with a casino, a garden and barbecue facilities, around 5.3 km from Paradis Golf Club. The balcony was amazing and huge and everything was very clean. Great value for the price!

La Pirogue ligger langs den hvite stranden Flic en Flac, og har et treningssenter og et stort utendørsbasseng. Ferieanlegget ligger omgitt av et stort tropisk hageanlegg. Ths staff at La Pirogue are par excellence. They always go out of their way to help you. And they have been consistently excellent since I first came to La Pirogue in 1991. 54 visits later they are still performing at very high levels. Dinners are always varied and high quality. The management are always there to help. The cleaners go beyond the call of duty with their attention to the rooms. And of course the setting is magical.

Sugar Beach is located on Flic-en-Flac beach, Sugar Beach Mauritius offers views of the Indian Ocean and features a wellness centre, garden and an outdoor swimming pool. Hotel itself is very beautiful, the greenery and the beach is amazing. The architecture is very Creole, very New Orleans. Food was better than what we expected, different varieties and the pastry chef is amazing. The milk in Mauritius is exceptional, we ordered hot chocolate every night at the hotel. Staff were helpful, friendly and positive all the time. Compared to other parts of the island, Flic en Flac was more sunny and warm. Entertainment at the hotel was good, with live band and different events every night. Water sports such as paddling, kayaking, snorkeling were included.

Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is located on Mauritius' le Morne Peninsula. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It has very nice facilities, friendly staff, evening programme, etc. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by the water-sport activities that were available to us free of charge. We also could visit and spend time and Dinarobin hotel which is not as nice but just at the footsteps of Le Morne.
