Featuring free WiFi, Villas Palm is situated between the sea and the mountains in Le Vauclin, 22 km from Les Trois-Îlets. Fort-de-France is 27 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Our family of 5 had a fantastic and relaxing time at Palm Villas - We particularly enjoyed the beautiful, serene and private tropical landscaping around the property, the views on the surrounding hills and the ocean, the easy access (steps away literally) to a great and scenic local coastal hiking trail that also leads to a beautiful swimming spot in a Mangrove-bordered lagoon (there is a small beach area near the property, but not really a beach to hang out and swim), the private, spacious and very well appointed villa (we ended up cooking most nights, and we found the kitchen well equipped), the private pool, and the welcome local drink upon arrival We also appreciated the very responsive, thoughtful, flexible and guest-centered support from Pierre-Henri (our local contact for the Villa) throughout our stay (we had a few issues to deal with during our stay and in all cases he was prompt to communicate, and always put himself in our shoes -- as travelers who had come a long way to be there on vacation -- when trying to find a solution or providing us with the needed information). We also liked that the property was a little off the beaten paths and in a less "touristic" area on the island (which we liked, but this also means that it takes a little more time to get to those more "touristic" sites and beaches, though everything on the island (even nearby destinations) takes a little longer to get to anyways, as one must drive mostly on small windy (and at times mountainous) single-lane roads :-)
