The location, the access road was such an adrenaline pump in a good way, the tranquility, secluded, the sound of the river at night, the food. I loved everything. I was supposed to check in at 18H00 but due to challenges with transport I arrived at 04H30am. The owner went out of his way to accommodate my situation and even arranged a Tuk Tuk.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden with BBQ facilities, Living Heritage Koslanda offers elegant rooms in Koslanda, 1 km from the Diyaluma Waterfall. Since there was no one else to stay, the hotel upgraded to a suit. VERY beautiful interiors & exterior with very good taste. Because of no other guests, they took 2h to make our dinner, which was amazing hospitality and was delicious. The area might not be popular but I def recommend to stay here than any other fancy hotels in the highland.

The pool and garden were amazing, and the hospitality was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the kottu was absolutely mouth-watering—a must-try for anyone visiting. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer.Avoid the crowds in Ella and stay here for an unforgettable odyssey and hiking experience.This peaceful, less busy retreat offered an overall wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to return.
