Bathiya picked us up from the main road and drove us in his jeep to his beautiful treehouse surrounded by farm. We fell in love with the farm immediately . There are all kinds of fruit and vegetables. He took time to explain to us the vegetables and fruit. He also took my son to do gem digging in the river surrounded by monkeys and peacocks. Later he showed us around in his jeep and also took us on a night tour near the farm. His mother cooked an amazing Sri Lankan dinner for us, we felt at home . the next morning he took us on the safari tour in Yala Park. He was amazing at spotting animals and birds . We basically owned the whole park to ourselves because we entered through the Galge entrance and most tourists go to the southern block. This is a place NOT to be missed . And you will feel true Sri Lanka hospitality with Bathiya ! And we miss the dog John
