The beds were nice, they had mosquito nets but when I was there I didn't have one mosquito bite. The bug free dining area. Bird watching from the deck. The phone service, for being where you are was fairly good. We went for a hike to the waterfalls, and it was epic!

Located in Matale, 32 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Nelinsa Resort and Spa provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The hotel is located in a scenic spot in the middle of a small tea estate. The surrounding views are spectacular. The staff were so helpful and the food was absolutely amazing! They set up the ping pong table for us and drove us to the beautiful Sembuwaththa lake. Well worth a visit if you love nature, hiking through tea estates and Sri Lankan food.

Located in Riverston in Matale, just 1 km before the Riverston junction, The Riverston Grand provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. The highlight of our stay was the location. The hotel is set in a beautiful area, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such scenery was truly special. The food was enjoyable, though the à la carte menu leaned more toward snacks than full meals. A greater selection of main courses would elevate the dining experience, particularly for the price point. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added warmth to our stay.

Located in Elkaduwa and 10 km from Kandy, Green View Holiday Resort features an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the meals at the on-site restaurant. Reasonable for the money I spent. Nice view from the balcony.
