We stayed at Ayana Seas for five nights. This small resort is located nearby a small village south of Colombo. Took about an hour and a half from the airport. The vibes were quiet, super chill and peaceful. The resort is right on the beach, and it's one of the best we hit up in Sri Lanka. All the staff were super friendly. The beach is gorgeous, but the waves were a bit gnarly for swimming when we were there, so we just hung out by the pool. The food was good overall, and you gotta try the seafood sizzling dish platter—it was bomb. Bed was very comfortable. We got lucky and saw a bunch of baby turtles hatching on the resort beach. We even helped some of the little dudes find their way to the ocean. All in all, it's a sweet and serene resort.

The food, prepared by different chefs, was a culinary delight—each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The room service and housekeeping were superb, always attentive to our needs, even with a toddler. A huge thank you to Mr. Shamal, Mr. Udara, and the entire staff who treated us as if we were part of their family. We also had an incredible experience at the spa—Mira, the therapist, transported us to another world with her amazing Balinese massage. It was pure relaxation! Glenross Living exceeded all our expectations, providing warm hospitality, attention to detail, and unforgettable memories for our little family. We highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious retreat!

Directly located along Kalatura Beach, the Tangerine Beach Hotel offers an outdoor pool and yoga lessons. Set amidst tropical gardens, it also has an Ayurvedic spa and 2 restaurants. The view, stuff, pool, beach, garden etc.

Situated in Wadduwa, Lake Resort Bolgoda has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Location was spectacular and had the chance of Kayaking in the Bolgoda lake which was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our requirement. Food was delicious and their flexibility on preparing and delivering food on time as per our preference is also appreciative. Room was very spacious with all necessary furnitures and bathroom facilities. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for relaxing getaway and hope to go there again in the future as well.

Located in Kalutara, a few steps from Kalutara Beach, Lohas Beach Resort Villa provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, pool with a view and an open-air bath. The breakfast was wonderful, served fresh everyday by Stanley at what ever time we wanted it. Omelette of my choice and Sri Lankan sausages followed by toast and marmalade. This was followed by a fresh fruit salad prepared by Stanley or Sisi ( Sisi is the owner). All served with a pot or two of Ceylon tea. Nothing was to much trouble for these two wonderful guys.

Situated right along the beachfront in Kalutara, Citrus Waskaduwa features dining options, an outdoor pool, a spa and a fitness centre. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in its public areas. This is our 3 rd stay with this Hotel, the view is amazing you are straight to the Indian Ocean and it’s beautiful, huge garden and a nice swimming pool lots of space around swimming pool for sunbathing etc. Special thanks to Front office Manager Miss Thushari and her Assistant Miss Abhi, made our stay more comfortable, overall everyone is very helpful and friendly , Operation Manager and Chef 👨‍🍳were excellent, they are very professional they know their customers! We were very happy with our stay at Citrus Waskaduwa. We will be there whenever we visit Srilanka, we haven’t found any other hotel with such a quality. Thanks for all the staff.

Built on 9 acres of gardens, AVANI Kalutara Resort (formerly Kani Lanka Resort and Spa) is located by the Kalu Ganga River. It offers an outdoor pool, a luxurious spa and free Wi-Fi. All the stuff were super helpful, polite and friendly. Miss Ravindi was super supportive. Thank you for wonderful hospitality.

Good staff and very clean and excellent service, very tasty food, wide room good sea view, comfortable and nice room
