During my trip to Polonnaruwa, my car broke down in Habarana, forcing me to stay overnight. I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

O Levona Garden Resort está localizado em Habarana, a 1,2 km do Lago Habarana e a 15 km do Mosteiro da Floresta Ritigala. Os hóspedes podem desfrutar do restaurante no local. This was our first accommodation on our Sri Lanka trip and oh my, they set the bar very high. Host family was so welcoming, they greeted us with fresh juice and cold towels. And from there on, it was only better. Our room was spacious, well equipped with comfortable bed, large bathroom and AC. Surrounding garden looks like paradise and the pool is a welcomed bonus. Delicious breakfast and breathtaking dinner, definitely try both if they are offered to you. You'll get a delicious, home cooked Sri Lankan meals you won't easily forget.

Chammika and his wife were extremely friendly. The wifi worked really well which was important for me due to needing it for work. Excellent food, bike hire for the ancient city self guided tour, air con, best shower ive had in Sri Lanka. Just a great stay

A 2,9 km do centro de Anuradhapura e 16 minutos a pé de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, Sacred City Tourist Resort fornece acomodações com ar condicionado, terraço, um jardim e um salão partilhado. We stayed here for 3 nights. Our hosts helped us with planning the visit to the monuments. We highly recommend booking a tuk tuk ride for the evening ceremony, it is an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much also for the ride to the bus station and catching the bus to Dambulla on time when it was just leaving. If you don't know where to stay, we recommend booking accommodation here.

Habarana Tree house Mutu village apresenta uma piscina exterior, jardim, um terraço e restaurante em Habarana. Este resort de 3 estrelas dispõe de quartos com ar condicionado e casa de banho... The staff and owner were sooo friendly and so helpful. Also the traditional home made sri lankan food ....especially the pancakes were so delicious.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating! They were super responsive in communication and supporting making our trip as amazing as possible. I would happily go back 🙏

We planned to stay 2 nights but we ended up extending it to 5 nights. The family is extremely friendly and hospitable, going far and beyond to make our stay convenient and unforgettable: local tips, washing clothes, cooking any meals, short transports, and scooter rent can be arranged without hassle. They even significantly discounted the final bill and gifted us with some local souvenirs! The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients cooked with love, and the recipes were changing according to our liking. Every morning when we left to explore and late at night when we came back they came out to greet us and see if all is fine. The resort is with amazing views. The lake, sunrise and sunset are gorgeous with a view to 3 biggest stupas with lights on the whole new night. It’s 7-10 minutes drive with a scooter to the nearest stupas and ancient hidden sights. We had many mornings e.g. at Wessagiriya cave complex meditating and resting on smooth rock formations under giant rocks shadows, and watching peacocks’ dancing. All rooms are with A/C and very comfortable beds. There is no water heating (or cooling) so if you don’t demand hot showers but instead prefer refreshing cool showers during the hot days, it will be perfect. Next time we will come back with a bigger family. Thank you so much for everything! 🙏
