The breakfast was excellent food cooked with love and this gem set amongst all the concrete is the best place for peace and quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Sunbird Garden. Great rooms and wonderful bathrooms all set by the river with a 5 minute stroll to the beach.

SunBoo Beach Bungalows has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Koh Rong Sanloem. Sunset beach is a gorgeous place on Koh Rong Sanloem and Sun Boo a glimpse of paradise. The staff are the most lovely and accomodating, the dorm was comfortable, everything perfectly clean. Yoga sessions in the morning were really enjoyable and the food and cocktails outstanding. Also thanks for keeping me hydrated the whole day (and before the night!) and for making the effort to run the place as sustainably and free of plastic as possible. I'll dream of the cheesecake cocktail for days to come.

Saracen Bay Resort offers a relaxing getaway in the modern villas located on the beach of Koh Rong Samloem Island off the coast of Sihanoukville. For us Saracen bay resort was the best place to stay on the island. Our bungalow in the first row offered direct access to the beautiful beach that we almost had for ourselves as the island was not that crowded. The staff stepped out of their way to make our stay an amazing experience. Especially Hong was so helpful, always friendly and a perfect host. The beach was always clean although a lot of rubbish was washed ashore - not the hotels fault...The staff cleaned the beach every morning. The food in the restaurant was delicious - breakfast can be ordered a la carte and is not included. Along the beach are a lot of other options in case you'd like to try another restaurant.
