If you’re staying in Beppu and want to be within walking distance of the train station, downtown area with restaurants and a shopping street, and want to relax in a rooftop pool/hot tub/sauna overlooking the sea this is the place for you! It has regular hotel rooms with western style beds and is a great option if your partner isn’t an onsen person but you are. They can relax in the pool while you go out and explore the onsen in Beppu. Note that tattoos are not allowed in the pool area, but if covered by your swimwear you should be fine. There is also an onsen on the 14th floor that overlooks the sea. In the changing room there is a swimsuit dryer/spinner you can use so you don’t need to worry about a wet suit in your luggage. We did not eat meals at the hotel but ate two dinners at nearby restaurant Robata Jin which was excellent. If we come to Beppu again we’d definitely stay here!

Set in Yufu, 400 metres from Yufuin Motorcycle Museum, Pension Kinrinko Toyonokuni features a restaurant and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The location and the view was spectacular. The owner/s (?) were super friendly! I did not expect such a beautiful, clean, gorgeous room and great breakfast with an excellent view over the lake for such a small price. ありがとうございます♪

Situated in the magnificent Aso Kuju National Park, Resonate Club Kuju boasts its 14.5-hectare property and offers roomy accommodations, free Wi-Fi access at public areas. Breakfast and Dinner were both fantastic with a good variety and tasty. Room was large and well equipped Onsen was large and great temperature Location was very pretty with lots of open air and mountain viiews

Terletak di Kokonoe, 33km dari Gunung Aso, Spagreenness mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, lounge berkongsi dan teres. It natural, so there are always some interesting small friends will be part of the house, but the staff are really nice to take care of it right away, so no need to worry from that. The food is amazing, traditional food , so it wait for a while for all the process, and breakfast are also hard working and good enough amount. Love it ! Full energy for the new day coming

Situated right on the coast and offering indoor/outdoor hot spring baths with a panoramic view of Beppu Bay, Spa and Resport Hotel Solage Oita Hiji is located a 15-minute car ride from JR Hiji Train... Onsen here is so nice. The outdoor onsen is so relaxing. I preferred the room without shower more.
