The property was absolutely beautiful and many of the staff spoke English very well, so communication was no issue. In all our travels we have never been to such an accommodating hotel where the staff took such great care of us and were so warm and friendly. The food was fantastic, and the lobby always had refreshments available for snacking or drinks. They arranged for our hiking gear so we could go see the Sugi trees--which were amazing!

Also what less guests was use is the super nice beach just few steps down of the room

Petit Resort Native Sea Amami har vacker havsutsikt från alla rum och ligger bara 2 minuters promenad från den orörda stranden Kurasaki. This is a hotel where I really felt welcome and everything was perfectly organized from A to Z. The reception helped me organizing a rental car and gave me excellent advices where to go snorkelling and to find turtles which I really did. Snorkelling equipment can be rented as well as bicycles. The breakfast and dinner was simply excellent, every day different with fresh and local dishes. Free airport shuttle was very kind. The room I stayed in the first floor had direct access to outside, was really spacious and the big windows with view to the sea were amazing. I think the hotel management is really investing a lot in staff and resources to make it an excellent stay.
