If you want to eat out sometimes, without travelling extensively in the region, there's a very good pizza place in the next village (3 minutes drive) or the restaurants in Lecce, the next town. Beaches very near, lots of places to see around in the region, at 1-2,5 hours drive; the town of Otranto was the revelation for us.

Our staying at the Masseria was excellent.The room clean, well decorated,spacious with an amazing view. The entire structure curated in every details from the garden to the common rooms where we has an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast with loocal products. The staff exceptional!

The location was very close to town but you felt like you were much further away due to the size of the property and how spread out it is. The rooms were amazing with extremely comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious.

Situated within 500 metres of Porta Vecchia Beach and less than 1 km of Porto Rosso Beach, Casa Donnalby provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Monopoli. Hosts were very excellent - were most helpful and always willing to give tourist information. Location was minutes from the main centre walking. Excellent. Collected us from and also brought us back to the airport at a fare we felt reasonable. structure was italian and more traditional than other places. Facilities were excellent but as had a family occasion we were travellling for, we ate out alot. The roof terrace was a real bonus as we expected it to be ground level with little sun but was roof level, great size and very comfortable.
