The owner went above and beyond what would be expected for customer support. He let us use the kitchen, shared meals his staff cooked for him with us, walked me to the super market to show me where to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, arranged taxi service, and even drove me to the city with his own motor scooter to fix my eye glasses which were broken. The facilities were also good and it was a one minute walk to the main stairs going down to the beach. Overall a nice and cozy homestay in Varkala.
