Set in Sabang, 400 metres from Iboih Beach, Iboih inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. This place is an absolute treasure. Saliza, her husband and team took such good care of us and made us feel so welcome that it was like staying with family. Our room was very simple (we chose the budget option) but we spent most of our time in the lovely area beside the water. There’s lots of space for relaxing and reading in the shade and the dock is great for swimming and snorkeling. Breakfast was different every day and always delicious. Saliza was a wealth of local knowledge and able to help us organize laundry, scooter rental, our onwards ferry tickets and even a driver to take us around some do the sights in Banda Aceh before taking us to the airport. There are many local restaurants only a few minutes walk away and our diving operator (Iboih Dive Centre) was happy to pick us up and drop off directly at the Iboih Inn. We had a fantastic week here and would definitely return. Very highly recommended!

Situated in Simeulue, less than 1 km from Nancala Beach, Momos Surf Shack features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had a warm welcoming with fresh coconuts. Momo's is only 500 m from the Peak Surf Point. Also close to other surf break points. Momo's team took in a trip to show us the nearby surf spots. Also, motorcycles were available for rent at the property. The bangalows are beautiful, and comes with Sunset view. Delicious food is served on a daily with refreshing juices. Good vibes, friendly staff and most importantly affordable price.

Sunset Beach Resort Weh features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Sabang. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view. We had a lovely stay at Sunset Beach Resort. As non-divers, we were looking for a relaxed but comfortable place to stay on the island. Though a little bit away from some other, apparently 'happening' places of the island, we thought it was still the best place to stay. We loved the overall aesthetics of the resort - quite unique and fresh compared to other places on the island - and how easy it was to get everything we needed: from transport to tips about activities, not just locally, but also on the mainland. We loved the variety of food and drink options offered on site - prepared with much love and attention as well as other local restaurant recommendations we were given. The patchy WiFi did not bother us as we wanted to disconnect and relax. The owners are very attentive and inspiring people who clearly put a lot of effort into making their guests' stay as hassle-free as possible. We loved just being able to slow down and hang out, read our books , watch the ocean and play with the resident puppy. A fab stay for couples, friends but even for solo travellers who are looking to unwind. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to be back!

AWERA RESORT features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tua Pejat. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. This is without a doubt the best resort of the Mentawais. Amazing location next to some of the best waves in the planet, the villas are fenomenal, the food is delicious and the staff is very kind and helpful. We’ll be back next year!

Grace Wave Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hilibotodane. Staff here are lovely, rooms very clean, crisp aircon and comfortable beds. Hotel building and grounds well maintained, pool table and ping pong, great upper viewing deck for checking the surf. A short walk to the keyhole to paddle out access but when you exit the surf you’re right at the hotel doorstep for a cold beer or juice

Ira Bungalows Pulau Banyak has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Alaban. Very very friendly staff, went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed, food was amazing, location is unlike any other. The price for this is a joke compared to what you get, 1000% recommend!

Facing the beachfront, Leebong Island Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Leebong and has free bikes, garden and private beach area. We had an amazing stay in Leebong Island! The food was awesome and the people were very friendly. Everything was clean! We had everything that we need! Thank you so much!

Ria and the team were amazing Took very good of us as a family arriving late and departing early in the morning. They prepared an outstanding dinner for us and a take away breakfast.
